I think this is finished

It looks a lot more polished and presentable indoors, maybe we all do.

It looks cool on the old-fashioned chest.

I agree with Mary Ellen. It looks great as a sculpture and it also complements and contracts with the chest nicely. Congrats on its completion!

Sorry, I meant contrasts with the chest, not contracts!

Diane! Breathtakingly beautiful work. This is a voice from waaaaay in your past: It’s Sandy, your old Canadian pal from Parsons. Every so often I’ll look up classmates (surprising how few I can find) and was thrilled to happen upon your site. I’m so impressed by the depth and sophistication and glorious whimsy of your sculptures. Brava! XOX

Hi, Thanks for your comment! It’s made from polycarbonate sheet, acrylic tubes, and paint (spray paint and house paint).

I thought it was so big outside. You’re right, it takes on an air of sophistication in the house.

For some reason, I thought it was much bigger based on the photo from your previous blog. It is just the right size and very cool. By the way, your floors are to die for.

It definitely looks more sedate and less colourful in the indoor pictures than the outside ones. Love the idea, and the materials – at first glance, I thought it was a metal sculpture.
